I started “the business” as a way to display my Fine Art work and to shoot a few portraits.  It didn’t take to long before I was shooting events.  It wasn’t to long after that we offered to photograph a good friends wedding.  That was it, I was hooked.  Wedding are just so exciting and fun.  I started marketing for Weddings immediately.

    My wife, Ruth, helped me in the beginning with carrying equipment and setting up for shots.  Then she started feeling it too.  She asked if she could come on some of the Engagement Sessions.  Our very next wedding I asked her to take some shots, she has such a natural talent for catching great candid moments.  Now she shoots with me all the time and is our album designer.  I couldn’t imagine anyone better to partner with in business than my wife.

    We just celebrated our 20^th Wedding Anniversary this past December.  So we understand a little about relationships.  We also understand the unpredictability of a Wedding or even a Portrait Session, you see we have five children and we’ve learned that very few things happen as planned.  The best thing to do is; thank God for the blessings and ask for His help in the crazy stuff.
